Far Niente

With a rich history dating back to 1885, Far Niente is one of the most iconic wineries in Napa Valley. The legendary hillside caves and time-honored traditions of historic Oakville viticulture allow us to produce elegant Chardonnay and Cabernet Sauvignon, renowned for their distinctive Far Niente style.

For more than four decades, Far Niente Cabernet Sauvignon has embodied a passion and commitment to producing the finest wine possible. The result is timeless wines rich in flavor, structure, and depth, with impressive elegance, freshness, and a long finish.

Far Niente Chardonnay has been the benchmark since 1981—juicy, refreshing, yet round and complex, ideal for both immediate consumption and aging.

The Cave Collection offers exclusive limited editions of carefully aged wines that capture the essence of the legacy since 1979. Each bottle, re-released in limited quantities from historic caves, displays the elegance, depth, and complexity that only time can bring. These rare wines are carefully aged to perfection and offer an unforgettable experience for wine lovers that will stand the test of time.

Nickel & Nickel

Nickel & Nickel produces single-varietal wines from individual vineyards in the most sought-after appellations of Napa Valley, which perfectly reflect the character of their terroir. Primarily Cabernet Sauvignon, but also Merlot and Chardonnay, are created through careful selection of grapes, traditional production, and aging in oak barrels, which gives the wines a rich and complex profile.

Each year, winemakers select up to 20 vineyards worthy of the "single-vineyard" designation. Equally important is the re-examination of popular locations and the search for new discoveries in Napa Valley's most prestigious appellations. Each vineyard must meet strict standards—soil, clones, root system, exposure, and cultivation methods. The viticultural team cares for the vineyards with precision so that each wine captures the purest expression of the terroir.

Bella Union

Bella Union combines hand-picked grapes with modern winemaking technologies. The wines, especially Cabernet Sauvignon, are characterized by fullness, complexity, and distinctive fruity and spicy tones.

Winemaker Brooke Price strives to create impressive wines that combine elegance, depth, and liveliness that uplift the senses. Like every winemaker in the Far Niente family, she believes in the highest standards of winemaking, starting with a beautiful, biodiverse vineyard that is cultivated sustainably and with precision. Capturing the spirit of each vineyard is her primary goal—an approach she adopted when producing single-vineyard wines at Nickel & Nickel.

Blending is the path to harmony, which we strive to capture in every bottle—wines with elegance, vibrant fruit, texture, and joie de vivre. The combination of different vineyards, varieties, fermentation vessels, and barrels creates wines that are elegant, sophisticated, yet gentle and universally food-friendly.

Post & Beam

Discover the popular Post & Beam wine, which builds on the solid foundations of traditional winemaking and precision-crafted processes. The result is Cabernet Sauvignon, Pinot Noir, and Chardonnay that taste exactly as they should.

Post & Beam focuses on affordable, elegant wines that are ready to drink even at a younger age. Both Cabernet Sauvignon and Chardonnay have a balanced structure, rich fruit flavor, and soft tannins. Thanks to modern production methods, the quality is consistent and the character of the wines is distinctive.

EnRoute

The desire to discover new regions, vineyards, and varieties for Nickel & Nickel single-vineyard wines took us west to the prestigious Pinot Noir region of Russian River Valley, where EnRoute Winery was established.

The key to creating a beautiful Pinot Noir is the balance between ripeness and restraint. We believe that less is more—the less we try to process the grapes, the better their depth and finesse will come through.

Each vintage begins with vineyards in the Russian River Valley and a careful selection of like-minded growers whose grapes bring another dimension to our flagship cuvée, EnRoute Les Pommiers. Les Pommiers wines combine the best blocks from individual vineyards, capturing the delicacy of the variety and the character of the region, while the single-vineyard versions of Pinot Noir highlight the specificities of individual locations and vintages.

Dolce

Sweet wines from late harvests require not only patience, but also extraordinary attention and care. To produce a wine of Dolce quality, you need a place that seems to have been created for this very purpose—soil combining gravel, volcanic ash, loam, and clay, formed over thousands of years. You will find just such soil on 20 acres on the southern edge of Napa Valley, in the Coombsville area at the foot of the Vaca Mountains.

The ideal conditions allow for the production of Dolce wine – an exceptional late-harvest wine made from carefully cultivated Semillon and Sauvignon Blanc varieties, shaped by careful care and the gentle touch of Mother Nature.

Dolce is a wine that can age and gain complexity over time – ideal for festive occasions and sweet wine collectors.

Each winery in the House of Far Niente portfolio brings a unique story, character, and style, yet all share a passion for excellence and respect for terroir. From the iconic elegance of Far Niente, to the precise terroir of Nickel & Nickel's individual vineyards, the art of blending at Bella Union, the classic, accessible elegance of Post & Beam, the delicate balance of EnRoute, to the sweet sophistication of Dolce—each wine is a journey into a world of taste, tradition, and innovation.

Discover the beauty of each vineyard, the diversity of the varieties, and the ability of these wines to enchant all the senses. House of Far Niente is not just a collection of wineries—it is an experience worth tasting, sharing, and remembering.
